Great choice for the hardware-challenged user.

With her old circular dial thermostat on its last legs, my mother went to the local hardware store to buy a replacement. The store employee had her buy a 3-wire model since they only carry two and three model ones. Imagine my horror when I started removing her old one and found FIVE wires. My initial research said that many hardware stores don't cary five wire thermostats, and they usually have to be special ordered for contractors and HVAC specialists. Thankfully Amazon came to the rescue! This product arrived fast and took less than 20 minutes to install and program. It looks great and it is so easy to program/reprogram that my mom can do it (sorry, mom).

Easy to install according to included instructions, looks great, works great, has already paid for itself in energy savings...very happy with this purchase. Have replaced all 5 of my home's old thermostats with this one a few months ago. It's simple to set up, has a comprehensive set of features, no complaints here. Has day, night, and vacation programmable temperature settings.
